BookSpring and its founding organizations – Capital Area Reach Out and Read and Reading Is Fundamental of Austin place books into the hands and homes of our community’s most vulnerable children.

BookSpring’s Read-A-Thon is an annual event encouraging community service and promoting literacy in the Austin community. Participants set a reading goal, ask family members to pledge support, read for two weeks and collect donations to benefit BookSpring.
